Quinta das Pirâmides presents its guests with a concept of rural tourism of excellence, which combines the highest standards of good taste and comfort with a deep and refreshing connection with nature.
The innovative dimension of the accommodation concept is based on the relationship with the life and work of Portuguese writer Camilo Castelo Branco. According to tradition, the novelist was at Quinta das Pirâmides and the physical and human landscapes of the region served as inspiration, namely, for the writing of some chapters of the novel A morgada de Romariz. This exceptional circumstance influenced the decision to honor the greatest writer of Portuguese Romanticism, who lived very close by, in the village of São Miguel de Seide, attributing to the fourth titles of Camillian literary productions that biography citizens who were born, or lived, in Vila Nova. In the main house, guests can also enjoy the lounge with fireplace to relax, tasting the Alvarinho wine and the fruits produced on the farm.
In addition to the comfort and excellence of the main house, with a decoration that excels in refinement, outside beauty is found in every corner: 8 granite stone water tanks, a stream with running water and streets for walks and walks within the Farm that also has a football and tennis field.
Inserted in the green landscape of Minho, Quinta das Pirâmides has a total of 16 ha of land with 1 ha of gardens, 4 ha of forest, 4 ha of Alvarinho vineyards and 4 ha of blueberry production. Strategically located, 10 km from the historic city of Braga, 15 km from Guimarães, birthplace of Portugal, and 7 km from the land of Camilo Castelo Branco, V. N. of Famalicão, Quinta da Pirâmides offers all the conditions to enjoy the peace and fresh air that you can breathe in these lands where green reigns.
For an even closer contact with nature, we offer the possibility to participate in the harvest, in September, and in the blueberry harvest, from May to July.

Quinta das Pirâmides allows for events such as weddings, baptisms and corporate team building activities. For this, we have spaces and programs available that can be booked in 2021.

Além de sermos recebidos com uns bons vinhos da quinta e uma tábua de queijos, o ponto alto da estadia foi sem dúvida a noite. Existe uma lareira exterior e tivemos a ousadia de pedir para acender à noite enquanto bebíamos uma garrafa de vinho.

Our stay was wonderful! The property feels like a paradise and Miguel was very welcoming making the experience truly special — we were welcomed with delicious local produce and wine, had a chance to taste berries, apples and other fruit grown in the property as well as went an extra mile to help with anything we needed. Truly recommended and we will be back!
